My name is Tom Maxwell,

I am 25 years old and was born and bred in Darwin, Northern Territory. I have been a motor sports enthusiast ever since I can remember and have a passion to pursue a career in racing. It was not until I was 10 that I stepped into a go-kart and truly ignited the strong desire and passion for racing that I carry with me today. At the age of 15 I progressed into racing Formula Ford and after two years of rapid success and growth I found myself an opportunity to progress onto the international stage for 2016.

I have spent the past 3 years racing throughout Europe in pursuit of Formula 1, developing my skills and gaining valuable experience by racing at one of the highest levels of International open wheel racing, on the biggest circuits in Europe.

In 2019 I made a career switch, returning to Australia to compete in the 2019 Porsche Carrera Cup Championship with Sonic Motor Racing Services. Finishing my rookie year with a front row start and numerous top 5 finishes.
